Ghana MTC Welcome Devotional

I had heard 'rumors' that I could send emails to Spencer and that the 'MTC' Mom prints them and hands them out on Sunday evenings. I sent an email asking about that and this is the reply and picture that they attached (what is up with the BRIGHT blue background?? To bring out the blue in his tie?)

Hi Sister Lamb,

Elder Lamb just conducted our Ghana MTC Welcome Devotional. He is one of our assistants today. He is doing just fine.

I printed your letter and will give it to him this evening. It is okay for you to email him once a week. He will check his email again next Saturday or Sunday and again the following week using our office computer.

I made it!!

Mom,
the plane ride was forever long but i am here at the Ghana MTC. it is a million degrees with 200 % humidity. i called dad from new york because you werent home and didn't answer your new cell phone. i am doing great i flew over with 3 other elders from america. 2 from idaho and one from LA. i broke the screen on my camera so i can only see half of my picture lol. it should still work so dont worry. it is like i am on a different planet. everything is green and there are a lot of old buildings that are made of cinderblocks and the roof is just stolen. the people all drive like dad and ride each other and merge with no blinkers lol. i am doing good they have a lot of good food and today we had papaya for lunch. tell everyone i love them and the work of the Lord is being done. i love you mom.
