hello everyone,
this week has been great. it always seems like there is never enough time to do what we need. the work has been great and i am so sick of being asked how i feel about a black man ruling america. i dont even want to talk about it. the people here think that it is the greatest thing in the world. i just read the 13 articles of faith. especially number 12 to them and they usually dont ask any more.
the work is the same old same old. the members are doing better. we just had a district conference from president uchdorf and jefferey holland. it was amazing and focused directly on the needs here. i hope the people actually payed attention. the members are good but the investigators have been getting lazy. not much we can do but keep up the good work we are doing.
president squires quoted the worlds greatest swimmer when they asked him why he was the best. he said " because i kicked when i didnt want to kick and i stroked when i didnt want to stroke" i love that quote. do dont worry i am stilll kicking and stroking strong.
