Everyday is an adventure in Africa

how you comin on?
ha ha liberia was the best ever this week. on wednesday we had our elders thanksgiving. we learned how to make tortillas. which is super easy by the way. played a bunch of games, watched the work and the glory, and my personal favorite: had a huge thanksgiving dinner prepared by our amazing couple missionarys. they really outdid themselves and i am so grateful for thier sacrifice for us here.
the next day we had zone conference where we had the opportunity to watch the priesthood session while president squires was doing missionary interviews. i loved it. elder scott gave a very powerfull talk and i liked it a lot. afterwards president squires gave us some instructions and we all ate and went home. there is a new rule for us now. we have to be in by 6 instead of 7. this hinders the work in my area since i have a 45 min commute one way. so we lost another opportunity for a lesson. but it is the rule so we must obey.
president squires is really cracking down and me, i love it because it is what needed to happen.

we had the opportunity to have the ap's come and stay in the apartment. it was my first time to meet elder michael. he is a great missionary and i enjoyed staying with him. for elder ukpong it was a great reunion and we talked a lot about the good old days. it was really nice.
i have learned how to make tortillas so i started experiamenting with an african style breakfast burrito. still working on perfecting it but thats what experaments are for.
i want to say thank you to everyone. the support i have recieved is amazing. it has helped me so much get through hard times. and i want to expecially thank my mother who is so worried all the time i still dont know how she allowed the lord to take me to africa. she understands the blessings and protection involved or else i would of had to say no. ha ha but the lord has blessed me here through you guys and i express my deep appreciation and thank you all.
love
